Who are the designers to watch? In the ever-evolving world of fashion, there's always a new wave of talent ready to claim the spotlight. Here are the most notable and prominent designers making headlines in the media, creating a fashion frenzy on the runway, and dominating our social feeds.

Star Cat

Famed for their iconic "Wet Tank Top," which mimics the appearance of being submerged in water, this brand's mission is to create unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces. Pushing the boundaries of logistics and visual aesthetics, they encapsulate lace bras beneath solidified white tank tops. Recently, the top has been spotted on Camila Cabello during her latest concert and on Kim Kardashian in a shoot for Vogue China. Each tank is customized to match clients' preferences, with options like adding nipples under the tank to create the illusion of a completely naked body beneath a wet top. In addition to this they also create liquid leather melting looks that attach to the body to resemble leather melting off the wearers body.

Prim Shalyn

Raised in northern Thailand, Panumas Jantra (Prim), fulfilled her dream of studying fashion in Bangkok, and has gained popularity throughout social media for her infamous "Hair Clip Dress". Drawing inspiration from the mundane things around her, her eccentric designs stand out on the runway, appealing to the whimsical world of illusions. With creations resembling hair clips, plastic chairs, and gift ribbons, imagination is emphasized as the main concept of the brand. Her thesis collection takes a play on "Kitsch" items which means things of common day and mainstream value, by transforming them into larger than life wearable works of art.

Natalia Fedner

Originally from Ukraine, she immigrated to the US at the age of 6. Her flair for design and invention began at just 4 years old in her hometown, where she would gather discarded "pretty colored wires" from a local telephone communications company and transform them into bracelets for herself and her friends. Natalia has studied and worked under renowned designers like Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan (founder of DKNY), excelling in her studies and earning numerous awards and recognition. Natalia crafts stunning, one-of-a-kind garments using her own patented fabric, Stretch Metal, a stretchy metallic chainmail. She has dressed many celebrities, including Shakira, Kendall Jenner, and Lenny Kravitz, just to name a few. Through extensive trial and error, Natalia engineered her 100% metal textile with 6-way stretch, which seamlessly molds to the body and adapts to body heat. This innovative material, both comfortable and strong, was patented as Stretch Metal in 2021.

Jeniece Blanchet

Jeniece, the founder of JeBlanc, grew up in Atlanta with a passion for jewelry that started in childhood. She would take apart jewelry pieces to create something entirely new, a creative endeavor that she has transformed into a successful career. Her designs, reminiscent of a mermaid fairytale, are inspired by the movement of life. From the smile of a stranger to the sun reflecting off metal objects, the joy of body movement in dancing and the flow of the ocean, Jeniece captures the dynamic rhythm of life in her work. She has built her success on the foundation of her hearts desires, expressing her artistic vision through mesmerizing, crystal-embedded jewelry pieces.
